Kalymnos, is a small Greek island in the Aegean archipelago and belongs to the Dodecanese islands. It is located southeast of Athens and northwest of Rhodes, the capital of the region.

Ideal for climbing, Kalymnos boasts spectacular weather, views, beaches and abundant life from the highest point up on the mountains and bellow the sea.

Originally just an ordinary touristic destination, Kalymnos was the most celebrated sponge trade center in the Mediterranean, until the sponges disappeared due a disease on the sea in the early 80s.. When rock climbing was ‘discovered’ on Kalymnos in the late 1990s, the island became one of the best climbing destinations all over the world.

The great thing about Kalymnos is that there is something for everyone to enjoy. It is well known as the climber’s paradise island, offering top quality climbing routes, but it is ideal not only for climbers for those who wants to enjoy the lifestyle of a Greek island. Beach lovers can swim, snorkel and sunbathe all day long. Besides climbing there are endless ways to play for the active adventurers: Yoga, Scuba diving, Surfing, SUP, kayaking, fitness, horseback riding and much more. There are plenty of family activities and a childcare center for when you want a little time to yourself.
